Frances Zomer, C.A. - President
Frances is a Chartered Accountant and successful entrepreneur who has extensive experience in business start-ups, business consulting, business management and management accounting. Frances has worked closely with small to mid-sized companies and not-for-profit organizations in Toronto through her previous practices with Deloitte & Touche and through Harris & Olah, Chartered Accountants. Frances co-founded Harris & Olah in 1996 where she specialized in preparing financial statements and providing corporate tax advice to small to mid-sized companies. During this period Frances led the implementation teams for the accounting systems at both Toronto General Hospital and the Osteoporosis Society of Canada. Frances has served as a financial consultant for the Osteoporosis Society of Canada and is a past member of the board of directors of VHA Home Health Care, one of Toronto’s largest non-profit home care providers.
John Perry Bujouves, Director
With over 20 years of investment and business building expertise, John has an extremely successful track record for identifying promising enterprises. He is the Chairman of Globacor Capital Inc., a flourishing boutique investment firm that invests and holds interests in a wide range of companies. Most recently John also served as the Chairman of the Bayshore Bank & Trust. Under John's stewardship, from the bank's inception in 1996, Bayshore Bank blossomed to one of the Caribbean's largest privately owned banks. In 2008, John led the successful sale of the Bank to a European multi-national conglomerate. The portfolio of companies John is currently involved with include Global Options Group, a crisis management and security consulting firm to FORTUNE 1000 corporations, government and high profile individuals. From 2005-2008, Global Options successfully completed 9 acquisitions and was listed on NASDAQ, until its sale in 2011. Other board positions John holds are with Numeric Answers, a corporate accounting firm, Dermatological Solutions, developers of the Kellett Skincare line of premier, medical-grade products, Safe Storage Depot, and Showcase Enterprises, a real-estate development company. John also serves St. Joseph's Health Center as an active board member of their Foundation. His former experiences include Chairman of the Ontario Arthritis Society and managing CIBC's International Private Banking group in Canada. Prior to that, as Managing Partner for Royal Trust International, John launched Royal Trust's first two US locations and in 1990 was awarded as Royal Trust's Employee of the Year.
