We are currently recruiting for Accountant and Junior Accountant:

Numeric Answers Limited is now accepting applications for the position of Accountant.

The Accountant will:

  • Ensure excellent quality of all services provided to clients and proactively attend to client concerns,
  • Manage profitability of their portfolio through monitoring of billable time and by ensuring maximum efficiency,
  • Provide monthly corporate accounting for a portfolio of clients ensuring quality, timeliness and efficiency of the work performed,
  • Interface regularly with clients and ensure we are meeting and hopefully exceeding their expectations,
  • Maintain a strong internal control environment to safe guard client information and ensure work is error-free,
  • Provide support and advice to the management team on department matters,
  • Supervise, train and coach Bookkeepers and Junior Accountants and work as a team player with all staff,
  • Identify and recommend new services which may be provided,
  • Keep apprised of developments in the accounting field; and
  • Be willing to participate actively in the movement and growth of the position and the company.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • CA or CGA designation,
  • Minimum five (5) years progressively more responsible accounting experience, preferably working with small to mid-sized businesses,
  • Experience preparing monthly f/s for small to mid-sized businesses, including working papers,
  • Strong understanding of a client-focused environment,
  • Self starter, with a positive 'can-do' attitude,
  • Excellent computer skills, including QuickBooks,
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and time sensitive environment; and
  • Superb communication style and strong organizational skills.

Numeric Answers Limited is now accepting applications for the position of Junior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping services including investment clients,
  • Produce a set of Financial Statements ready for review by the Accountant,
  • Prepare year end working papers and send out as required,
  • Produce or supervise the production of accurate and timely client financial reports with proper back up,
  • Perform variance and fluctuation analysis on financial statements,
  • Supervise and coach Junior Bookkeeper.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • University degree/College diploma, working towards an accounting designation,
  • Minimum five (5) years progressively more responsible accounting experience, preferably working with small to mid-sized businesses,
  • Experience preparing monthly f/s for small to mid-sized businesses, including working papers,
  • Strong understanding of a client-focused environment,
  • Self starter, with a positive 'can-do' attitude,
  • Excellent computer skills, including QuickBooks,
